Grew up in a miserable world, Lecrae at his very young age knew about drugs. His parents abandoned him. His father preferred to hang out with his drug addict friends rather with him. He was accepted in the hip hop society on the streets. He found a family and thought it will satisfied him. Until he realized the emptiness in his heart. Something was still missing in his life. And one day was caught by the cops and someone told him about the Bible. He joined many fellowship and gave his life to Jesus.
His music is a great testimony of God's love. Who would have thought a Christian rapper would top the billboard? Amazing, God is really working in ways we cannot see.
